The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in ensuring a successful monthly closing and financial statement review process.

It will provide the right individual with significant exposure to many areas of the business and lead to strong career development.

Key areas of focus will be all areas of general accounting, account reconciliation schedules, treasury functions, and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial data
• Support of internal treasury function
• Contributing to the development of new processes
• Assist with annual audits
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control requirements required.
• High level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel required.
• Previous accounting and reconciliation experience required.
• Previous experience successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with internal treasury
