Remote Paralegal Position - 6 to 12 Month Contract

Are you an experienced paralegal looking for a remote opportunity? We have a position available where you'll play a key role in managing discovery and assisting with light drafting tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responding to and preparing discovery requests.
  • Handling common file conversions.
  • Light drafting experience required (e.g., removals, CMC statements, joint reports).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe.
  • Entering work in MyCase billing software.
  • Assisting with calendaring by ensuring all deadlines are accurately recorded.

Desired Skills and Experience

Temp Paralegal needed for a remote assignment to last 6 months - 1 year. Must be able to perform the below duties :

1. Discovery responses

2. Discovery requests

3. Common file conversions

4. Light drafting experience (i.e. removals, cmc statements, joint reports etc.)

5. Knowledge of excel, word, adobe

6. Must enter work in my case billing software.

7. Knowledge of calendaring. We have someone who calendars all deadlines and the candidate will need to make sure the dates are accurate (a second pair of eyes).

Paralegal Certificate or work experience equivalent required
