Position Summary The Logos Student Newspaper Editor will be the primary person in charge of writing, editing, designing The Logos, the student-run newspaper.

This position is eligiable for student employment and federal work study. Essential Functions
- Cover campus assignments.
- Write stories.
- Take photographs.
- Lay out pages
- Monitor telephone (answer, take messages, etc.).
- General clerical duties.
- Distribute newspapers.
- Promote newspaper.
- Update interactive website.
- Other duties as assigned by Logos student editors and / or adviser (supervisor)
Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to demonstrate writing, editing, design, photography and other skills.
- Ability to self start projects.
Required Education
- Be a full-time UIW student.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5, with a 3.0 in the major discipline
- Be at least a junior (exceptions may be granted at the discretion of the Board)
Required Work Experience No required work experience necessary. Preferred Qualifications Preference given to students with previous high school or college journalistic experience (newspaper, yearbook, magazine, anthology, broadcasting class, website, etc.)
Work Study eligible. Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations None. Work Hours Work hours flexible depending on students’ academic and extracurricular schedules. Physical Demands None.
