Job Description :
Soliant is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Camarillo, CA. The COTA will assist in providing occupational therapy services to students, helping them develop the skills needed for daily activities and academic success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans as directed by an Occupational Therapist.
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Document and track student progress and report to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting as needed.
Qualifications :
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field.
- Valid California COTA license.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
