Job Description Summary
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the implementation of a plan of care.
The plan is based upon the patients developmental and health care needs identified through the assessment of the patients physical, psychological, socioeconomic status, and physician orders regarding care, treatment, and education.
The Clinical Nurse understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process;
delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Additional Job Description
Position Qualifications
Education :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Critical Care Course or certification in critical care preferred but not required
Experience :
- Previous experience in Specials Procedures preferred
- Critical Care or Emergency Room Experience required
Licenses / Certificates :
License to practice in SC or Compact Licensure Agreement
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification.
