Job Description

As a Project Developer specializing in Data Center and Energy Efficiency projects, with a focus on Electrical and large UPS systems, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and executing initiatives to enhance the energy efficiency and sustainability of data centers.

This role demands a unique blend of project management, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of energy efficiency principles.

Pay : $87,500.00-$ $162,500.00 annually

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful

applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Identification and Assessment :
  • Conduct thorough assessments of data center facilities to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, particularly in Electrical and UPS systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives.
  • Proposal Development :
  • Develop comprehensive project proposals, including detailed plans for Electrical system upgrades, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy integration.
  • Ensure proposals align with client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Technical Expertise - Electrical and UPS Systems :
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of Electrical and UPS systems, as well as electrical engineering, to design and implement energy-efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal design, performance and sustainability in data center environments.
  • Financial Analysis :
  • Conduct financial assessments and cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the economic viability of proposed projects.
  • Provide accurate estimates for budgeting and project feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Engagement :
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project development and implementation.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients to ensure seamless communication.
  • Regulatory Compliance :
  • Stay current on industry regulations and standards related to data center operations, energy efficiency, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project development, particularly in the context of data centers, with a focus on electrical and large UPS systems.
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical design, energy efficiency measures, and sustainable practices.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Project management certification is advantageous.
