The Relationship Manager reports to the Chief Consulting Officer and identifies new opportunities with existing clients, proposes solutions, and develops and grows profitable and rewarding client relationships.

To be successful, the Relationship Manager is expected to develop a good understanding of our client’s business and help provide strategic direction on both a project and account level.

In strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, the Relationship Manager will provide leadership that encourages team enthusiasm and innovation through proactive communication and consulting.

Make Your Mark every day on each other, our clients, our company, our industry, and the community. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Proactively seek opportunities to show added value to clients to expand client engagement. Build in-depth relationships with clients to understand their business goals and long-term strategy.

Collaborate with the Consulting team, Project Managers, and other Growth team members to deliver and support account roadmaps supporting the client's long-term objectives.

Actively manage and resolve client escalations and project scope issues. Review client project requests to understand business requirements, needs, and scope programs or projects using established processes and best practices.

Communicate effectively with clients and / or the internal team to maintain proper expectations. This includes creating well-written emails, presentations, and documentation.

Coordinate with Finance / Accounting to manage client billing and estimates and conduct post-mortems on projects. Schedule client meetings as appropriate, and provide updates and reports to clients.

Maintain and facilitate the flow of information between clients and key project resources at BlastX. Recognize problem areas early and facilitate solutions.

Other duties may be assigned to support process changes or new business requirements. Travel up to 25% for business purposes, determined by client requests or industry events.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Must have 5+ years’ experience in agency or consulting services, preferably in the digital marketing / analytics industry.

Strong account management skills and adherence to priorities and deadlines. Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Strong negotiation and sales abilities to upsell services, renew contracts, and identify new business opportunities. Requires strong competence in building relationships, negotiation, conflict resolution, and technical acuity.

Familiarity with the consulting industry, including understanding industry trends, key players, and the challenges clients face.

Ability to analyze client needs and market trends to tailor solutions that meet client objectives. Self-motivated, creative, high energy, and resourceful.

Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proven ability to present and influence leadership and other stakeholders with strategy, recommendations, and plans.

Ability to promptly and effectively address client issues, demonstrating a proactive problem-solving approach. Team player who can collaborate at all levels and across all functions.

Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other relevant tools for managing client interactions and tracking progress.

We currently have teammates located all across the country in 24 different states and 1 country internationally. Don’t get us wrong, we love to explore.

However, due to the nature of our consulting agency, you must remain in the same state / time zone and digital nomads will not be considered.

You Will Work With Chief Growth Officer, Business Development Directors, Project Delivery team members, Finance team, and other subject matter experts.

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range : $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD annually DOE We offer a competitive salary based on experience and a supportive, challenging, and fun work environment to ensure teamwork, productivity, and teammate happiness.
