GenWay Home Mortgage is a rapidly growing, multi-channel mortgage lender that serves thousands of clients and partners each year.
We are in search of a Graphic Designer who will be a key factory staff member responsible for creating projects from concept state to post-production.
The Graphic Designer will proactively work on projects related to print design (advertisements, customer-facing print collateral, PowerPoint decks, and sales collateral) and digital design (website graphic support, web advertisements, and social media content).
The Graphic Designer will possess a strong typography skill set and familiarity with serial design (multi-page) projects.
The Graphic Designer will create and aid in high quality design projects and will possess excellent time management skills and has the ability to adhere to corporate brand guidelines in order to maintain consistency across all internal and external mediums.
Responsibilities
- Create designs for sales collateral, POP materials, print advertisements, digital advertisements, promotions, and social media content
- Responsible for managing design projects proactively
- Coordinate efforts with existing functional departments to ensure the success of new products and the overall strategic product plan
- Plan and execute successful product launches
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Accurately make independent decisions on product disposition
- Effectively communicate and notify supervisor when there are functional or cosmetic discrepancies
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
- Possess at least 1-3 years of successful agency or in-house graphic design experience
- Companion portfolio or portfolio website link contained within resume
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite includes InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office suite including MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Outlook, and other related software and programs
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage various programs simultaneously
- Ability to work within and understand Mortgage Industry guidelines
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to develop, test and execute new ideas
- Ability to understand and follow corporate and channel brand guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Cross functional team builder / player with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
- Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast work environment that has the potential to change due to regulatory and business needs
- Need to be detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Experience working independently with little supervision
