About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Tech Job Specialty : Central Sterile, Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8H Evenings, 3 PM - 11 PM Guaranteed Hours : 37.
5 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Not required for submission Certifications : - BLS- COVID Vaccine Must-Have : - COVID and flu vaccines required, no exemptions - Certification in sterile processing Job Description : Perform sterilization and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures for infection control.- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain sterile environments.
- Utilize EPIC charting system effectively.- Participate in ongoing education and training programs.- Adhere to safety and quality assurance protocols in an acute care setting.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and outcomes.This position is in an acute division focused on central sterile processing within an operating room environment, requiring dedicated and certified professionals to ensure optimal patient safety and care standards.
