As a Commercial AV Service Technician , you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV systems across various commercial sites in Virginia, North Carolina, Washington, DC, and Maryland.
You will be the face of the company for many clients, ensuring that their AV systems are running smoothly and addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain commercial AV systems, including displays, projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AV system issues, providing on-site repairs and maintenance.
- Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure systems are operating efficiently and to prevent potential issues.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and successful completion of service calls.
- Provide on-site client training and support as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports.
- Drive company-provided vehicle to service locations within the designated areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all service visits.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial AV systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret AV schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair AV equipment efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Clean driving record and the ability to maintain it.
- Ability to pass a background check (required for secret clearance).
- Willingness to travel regularly within Virginia, North Carolina, DC, and Maryland, with little to no overnight stays required.
- Valid driver’s license.
