Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Arlington, TX 76015 (Texas nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Women’s Hospital, 2nd Floor – Labor & Delivery Unit Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel nurse contract) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel RN Unit Size : 19 beds (high-risk LDR) Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 (ACOG / AWHONN guidelines) Documentation System : Meditech / CPN Scheduling : Modified self-scheduling Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820 - $1950 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience in Labor & Delivery nursing Clinical skills in high-risk antepartum, labor, and recovery patient care Ability to perform cervical checks and IV placement Compliance with hospital dress code : hospital-provided scrubs, clean nails, neat hair, no visible piercings (except ears), tattoos covered Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care for high-risk antepartum, labor, and recovery patients Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring equipment Perform cervical checks and IV placements Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective patient care Accurately document patient care using Meditech / CPN systems Float to antepartum or gynecology units as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies and dress code Discover rewarding travel nursing opportunities in Arlington, Texas—a city known for its welcoming community, top attractions, and supportive healthcare environment.
