Strategy & Organization Development Data Strategist/Analyst

ASI is actively seeking a Consultant who help support the analysis and reporting for an important Department of Homeland Security federal agency's customer experience strategy.

Objectives :

Survey Design, Administration, and Analysis- Informally lead and work with teams conducting root cause analysis and action planning, leveraging a range of data collection methods (e.

g., targeted surveys, focus groups, interviews). Specific activities for the team may include :

• Design, develop, and deploy customer satisfaction and / or employee surveys
• Provide consultation on survey design, deployment, analysis, and interpretation
• Develop resources and working aids on a range of survey and data collection topics
• Produce survey reports and visualizations using software such as MS Excel, R, and Power BI
• Conducting statistical analyses to include visualizing data and communicating the meaning of the results to non-technical stakeholders,
• Presentation / Meeting Facilitation - Support high-quality meeting design and facilitation, creating collaborative, open, and transparent forums for leadership and staff to identify opportunities for improvement of program processes
• Business Process Management and Improvement Support - Provide support for improving processes, policies, and guidance. This may include the development of job aids, procedures, concept of operations, web-based publications, and guidance and communication plans

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to obtain and / or possess favorable DHS fitness determination
• BA / BS in Statistics / Analysis, Industrial / Organizational psychology (or a related field), and 4-7 years of consulting experience.

Masters in IO psych preferred.

• Client-facing experience to include leading communications and strategy, leading follow-up with clients on next steps, and writing crisp and clear client communications
• Can analyze and visualize data while identifying key decision points in data set(s)
• Self-motivated learner with the ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to lead professional, organized client meetings, create clear and client-ready presentations and documents, and communicate reports / analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong data-gathering and critical-thinking skills
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and advanced proficiency with SPSS, Excel, Tableau, and / or other data management, analysis, and / or other visualization tools,
• Deep understanding of using raw data to draw insights, including the entirety of the Data & Analytics landscape.
• Experience utilizing multiple BI tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, Looker, etc. needed
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Capturing clear, comprehensive meeting notes and minutes, as required.
