As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
- Design and build distributed, scalable, highly available, fault tolerant software systems.
- Building Compute Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) at OCI.
- Manage a team of highly talented team comprised of full stack development and devops engineers.
- Lead the entire software lifecycle - development, testing, CI and production operations - for one or more major tracks of the product or service.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, mentoring and managing performance of the development team.
- Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns like writing ops automation, structured logging, infrastructure qualification, instrumentation for metrics and events.
- Participate in on-call for the service with the team.
