Job description

Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Thermal Cutting Machine Salesman. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our thermal cutting machines to potential clients.

Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities within your designated territory.

Responsibilities :

1. Sales Generation : Actively prospect, identify, and develop new leads and sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, and attending trade shows to generate leads.

2. Product Demonstrations : Work with our Applications Specialists to conduct comprehensive product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features, capabilities, and benefits of our Thermal Cutting Machines.

Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and requirements of each prospect.

3. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while also cultivating relationships with new prospects.

Understand clients' needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.

4. Quoting and Proposal Preparation : Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals for potential clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that proposals meet client specifications and requirements.

5. Negotiation and Closing : Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure sales agreements. Employ effective sales strategies to overcome objections and close deals in a timely manner.

6. Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to Thermal Cutting Machines.

Use market insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and sales growth.

7. Sales Reporting : Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including contacts, leads, opportunities, and sales outcomes.

Provide regular reports to management regarding sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.

Qualifications :

1. Sales Experience : Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial equipment sector.

Experience selling capital equipment, such as Thermal Cutting Machines, is highly desirable.

2. Technical Aptitude : . Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients.

3. Customer Focus : Demonstrated commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

4. Results-Driven : Self-motivated with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to drive sales outcomes.

5. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client requirements. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
