Position Details :
- Pay : $19 - $22 per hour
- Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
The Shipping and Receiving Office Clerk is responsible for coordinating all shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse, maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and ensuring timely processing of shipments and deliveries.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and process shipping documents (bills of lading, shipping labels)
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers
- Ensure secure packaging and correct labeling of outgoing shipments
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Record and track inventory in management systems
- Communicate issues with suppliers and management
- Maintain storage areas and assist with inventory counts
- Report low stock levels and assist with reordering
- File and maintain shipping / receiving documentation
- Generate shipping reports and support logistics operations
Qualifications :
- Education in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations a plus
- Proficient with computers and inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and standing / walking for extended periods
