We are excitedto be hiringfora full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opening in Plainfield, IL. We are partnering with the local school district to bring dedicated and passionate professionals to our community and youth.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and assess students' needs for occupational therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create effective therapy plans
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide training and support to staff and families on strategies to support students' needs
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with research in the field
- Conduct screenings and referrals for occupational therapy services
Requirements :
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
