Job Summary

Our client is seeking a sharp, hands-on, strategic, and innovative Chief Operating Officer to drive the company’s overall strategy and growth by establishing quarterly or annual company objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 12 years of leadership experience across all aspects of the operational functions of a business in a high-volume organization.

Job Description

• Develop and implement inclusive policies and procedures by collaborating with other executives and CEO.
• Provide strategic, organizational, and administrative leadership to oversee day-to-day operations of the business.
• Ensure the Human Resources team fosters a highly inclusive culture with effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.
• Identify key capital projects and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the company is meeting its long-term success.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, special committees, and consultants to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate the company’s vision and goals to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees such as an MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of strategic leadership experience in a similar environment, management consulting, or general management.
• Experience in fashion, beauty, and / or cosmetics preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate employees at all levels of the organization.
• Able to develop short- and long-term plans to achieve the company’s goals.
• Understanding of financial principles and metrics to manage budgets and analyze financial data.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify problems and implement changes to improve operations.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Able to adapt to fast-paced and ever-changing business environments.
• Possesses high ethical standards and is committed to upholding the values and integrity of the company.
