Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax issues and opportunities.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with tax software and financial management systems.
