Assistant Director of Nursing in Assisted Living Community

CoBridge Workforce Solutions is looking for a dedicated, organized, and flexible Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team of experienced senior living professionals.

Responsibilities :
- Administer medications and treatments to patients according to physician orders
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist with airway management, including suctioning and oxygen administration
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs
- Provide case management services, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
- Assist with tube feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for patients
- Utilize knowledge of physiology to provide appropriate care and interventions
- Practice aseptic technique to prevent infection transmission
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop discharge plans for patients
- Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring development
- Offer family planning education and support
Requirements :
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and dosage calculations
- Ability to perform airway management techniques, such as suctioning and oxygen administration
- Strong patient assessment skills to identify changes in condition or potential complications
- Experience in case management and coordinating care for patients with complex needs
- Familiarity with tube feeding procedures and protocols
- Understanding of human physiology and its application to nursing care
- Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes and resources available for patients' transition from healthcare facilities to home or other settings
- Experience in providing infant care, including feeding, diapering, and developmental monitoring
- Familiarity with family planning methods and the ability to provide education and support
