Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager with a focus on Building Automation Sales to join our team.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with new and existing clients, driving sales, and offering customized building automation solutions that integrate with our commercial plumbing systems .
This position plays a critical role in expanding our customer base, increasing revenue, and providing innovative, sustainable solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the building automation and commercial plumbing sectors.
Generate leads, build a sales pipeline, and close deals.
- Account Management : Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and upselling opportunities for additional services and systems.
- Sales Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, targeting commercial properties, contractors, and project managers.
- Client Consultation : Meet with clients to assess their building automation needs, offer tailored solutions, and provide expert advice on integrating automation systems with commercial plumbing infrastructure.
- Product Knowledge : Stay up-to-date on the latest in building automation technologies, industry trends, and our company’s service offerings, particularly those related to smart plumbing systems and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams : Work closely with the plumbing and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration of solutions into client projects.
- Proposal Development : Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts that meet the client’s building automation needs and reflect our service capabilities.
- Sales Reporting : Track sales performance, report on KPIs, and manage the sales forecast for your assigned territory or client base.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in building automation, commercial plumbing, HVAC, or related industries.
- Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), energy management systems, and smart technology integrations, particularly within plumbing or commercial building environments.
- Sales Skills : Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Customer-Focused : Ability to understand client needs and provide customized solutions that drive satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Team Player : Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical staff, project managers, and support teams to deliver excellent client service.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
