Overview

We are looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves software developer with a strong passion for quality and an inquisitive spirit to stay up to date with the latest technological developments. The primary responsibility of a .NET Developer is to create and maintain proprietary software programs which provide value for our customers. The key projects involved in this effort include cloud-native enterprise tax and accounting solutions for energy industry companies, shared services components for reporting and data visualization, and business workflow integration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain proprietary software programs that provide value for customers.
  • Contribute to cloud-native enterprise solutions for the energy industry, including tax and accounting applications.
  • Build and maintain shared services components for reporting, data visualization, and business workflow integration.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 7-10 years of software development experience since college; track record of successful stints and experience across multiple tech stacks.
  • Strong preferred tech stack : Angular, C#, SQL Server, tSQL.
  • Ability and desire to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership (not people leadership); candidate may be senior developer seeking a lead role.
  • Experience with C# and / or Angular, solid SQL skills, and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts to determine real project needs and collaborate with users and cross-functional teams. Understanding the architecture of the system and how individual contributions fit into the overall project scope.
  • Work Style and Environment

  • Operate within an Agile Scrum team; contribute to a culture of trust, accountability, and focus on results.
  • Collaborate with users and other internal roles to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid role with both onsite and remote work as required.
