Description :
This position is designed for new or recent graduates (engineering, business, or other technical degree) to expose them to the industrial sales & engineering process as well as introduce them to the manufacturer’s representative environment.
ASE’s will develop : a deep understanding of products and customer needs through quote development (inside sales), a consultative style approach to determining the correct customer solution, best outside sales practices through shadowing a senior salesperson (customer visits, sales calls, project work), and working with outside sales and business development to win new business.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / bachelor’s degree in business with a technical concentration.
- Internship / Co-op or work experience in engineering or technical sales field preferred.
- Fervor to develop into a sales role with prior customer service skills or experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Team player who enjoys troubleshooting and problem solving.
