Job Details
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for manufacturing operations, aligning them with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Monitor the production process, making necessary improvements and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the manufacturing team across all sites in daily operations, special projects, and audits
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
- Review performance against operating plans and standards, providing reports to subordinates on the interpretation of results and approving changes in the direction of plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the manufacturing / food sector.
- Expertise in strategic planning and business development, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and financial management principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and developing a high-performing team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
