Job Title : Remote Associate - Commercial Litigation
Firm : Eckert Seamans, a national, full-service AmLaw 200 firm.
Location : Fully remote. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Connecticut. Preference will be given to those with admissions in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Experience : Candidates should have at least two (2) to five (5) years of commercial litigation experience in various federal and state litigation matters, including :
- Drafting motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Handling complex discovery (written discovery, document productions, subpoenas, depositions, protective / confidentiality orders, etc.)
- Preparing cases for trial
Experience in financial services litigation is encouraged. Qualified candidates should have knowledge and familiarity with representing financial institutions and mortgage servicers in real property matters, and experience with class action litigation and court experience would be considered a plus.
Skills : Candidates must possess strong analytical, research, and writing skills sufficient to prepare status reports and case assessments, along with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

In compliance with Connecticut Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $164,000.00 to $195,000.00. This salary information is a general guideline only, as we will consider various factors to determine the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work skills and experience, and education.
