Responsibilities :
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care
- Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with gastric lavage and IV infusion as needed
- Provide patient service and support, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of medical equipment (DME)
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Requirements :
- Valid CNA License in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in basic nursing skills, including vital signs and physical examinations
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
