Envoy
San Francisco, California, US
$190K-$214K a year
Full-time

About the Role

A Product Manager at Envoy is charged with influencing, inspiring, and leading teams to build products and features customers use and love while contributing positively to Envoy's business.

We aspire to have inspired and well-informed teams because we believe our best solutions won't come from any person. As such you'll be a leader, facilitator, orchestrator, and teammate.

As the Senior Product Manager for Growth, your mission is to drive the growth of our self-service business and revolutionize the way our customers interact with and derive value from our products.

You will lead the charge in creating seamless, intuitive, and highly effective self-service experiences that empower our users to achieve their goals independently.

Your role is to transform data insights into actionable strategies that drive user engagement, conversion, and retention.

You will champion a culture of experimentation, enabling rapid learning and iteration across the organization.

You will be responsible for building, developing, and laying the foundations for a world-class, insight-oriented Growth team to define and deliver a backlog of experiments aimed at improving prioritized metrics & user experiences including areas such as Acquisition, Activation, Retention / Engagement, & Monetization.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

You Will

  • Growth Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy focused on driving adoption of our freemium product, increasing user engagement, and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Product Analytics : Leverage data to identify key metrics, track performance, and inform decision-making. Continuously analyze user behavior to uncover growth opportunities and optimize the user journey across the funnel.
  • Experimentation : Design and run A / B tests, experiments, and growth initiatives to increase user acquisition, retention, and monetization.

Implement a test-and-learn approach to quickly validate ideas.

  • User Journey Optimization : Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize the self-serve funnel, reduce friction, and create seamless onboarding experiences that convert free users into paying customers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align growth initiatives with broader company goals.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on key objectives.

  • Product Roadmap : Gather and analyze customer feedback and collaborate with other product squads to develop product roadmaps that will drive growth.
  • Market Research : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Revenue Growth : Focus on driving revenue growth by improving conversion rates from free to paid users, increasing upsell opportunities, and optimizing pricing strategies.

You Are

Someone with extremely high standards. You’re practical and know perfect is the enemy of the good, but you aspire for us to be great.

You care deeply about the quality of our work and our team

An Owner. You act with and teach appropriate urgency when the situation calls for it. You feel personally accountable and responsible.

You proactively look for problems and inefficiencies and find elegant solutions before they become major issues.

  • Fast-paced. You love the speed and impact you have on startups
  • Empathetic, a great listener, and observer. You know there might be differences between what customers say and do and are able to use both what you hear and what you see to deduce the actual pain they're experiencing.

You actively build relationships with your teammates to better understand their work and partner with them

Insanely curious. Before you even consider a solution, you want to understand and clearly articulate the problem. And when devising solutions, you seek and value input from as many sources as possible and work as a servant leader in your team to create products that delight.

You are passionate about defining goals and metrics and other ways to know it's working and solving customers' problems once deployed

You Have

  • 5+ years in a Product Growth role with direct experience in scaling B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record of driving significant growth in a SaaS environment, particularly with freemium models.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing product-led growth and product-led sales flywheels.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals and consistently drive meaningful impact to key business & product metrics.

You can turn ambiguous problems and big ideas into a roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal guidance.

  • Deeply understand how your products operate and impact key business metrics such as ACV, LTV, User Retention, Revenue Retention, Self-Serve New & Upgrade ARR, Activation, Engagement, Signups, etc.
  • Experience with A / B testing, experimentation, and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passionate about user experience and customer-centric product development.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, process-building and decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias for action.
