Location : Remote - Based in Muncie, IN

Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and passionate volunteer Grant Writer to join our team. Wind Haven Foundation is committed to supporting survivors of domestic abuse through comprehensive recovery services, housing initiatives, prevention, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in securing the funding necessary to continue and expand our vital programs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Grant Writing : Research and identify potential grant opportunities. Develop and write compelling grant proposals tailored to the requirements of various funding sources.
• Sponsor Proposals : Create and present sponsorship proposals to potential corporate partners and organizations, highlighting the benefits of supporting our cause.
• Individual Donations : Work with CFO & CEO to develop strategies to increase individual donor contributions. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors.
• Fundraising Campaigns : Work event coordinator & CFO to plan, and execute fundraising campaigns, both online and offline, to engage the community and raise awareness about our mission.
• Reporting : Maintain accurate records of all grant & sponsor applications.

Volunteers must complete a federal background check via FBI website & local vendor for fingerprinting. Due to limited funding, volunteers are responsible for the cost of their own background check.
