As the medical director for Sound Physicians’ hospitalist practice at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, situated in the vibrant community of Nyack, New York, I’m honored to have been an integral part of our practice for the past six years.

• We are a closely knit, established team of 16 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs), with the support of a clinical performance nurse.

Practice

• Our ICU is closed, providing a focused and collaborative environment for patient care.
• We work with fourth-year students from Einstein School of Medicine and third-year medical students from Touro University.
• Our APPs work collaboratively with a supervising physician to provide patient care in a supportive and friendly setting.
• Many of us value quality time with our families or the great outdoors, which is why we offer a flexible schedule that allows us to support one another during our time off.
• Expected annual salary ranges from $125,000-$160,000 depending on the work schedule (days / swings / nights). Salary range refers to total target compensation.

Actual pay, including base and bonus, varies based on experience and performance. Compensation is influenced by factors such as education, experience, and certifications.
