Platform Engineering is a remote first distributed team that is powering CI / CD platforms, Developer platforms (IDP), a huge array of kubernetes backed microservices, data lakes & other infrastructure in AWS & physical datacenters to help Conductor build elegant, efficient, & customer focused solutions.

We are solving some of the hardest problems in MarTech & on the cutting edge of scaling very large data sets for both global accessibility & lightning fast retrieval.

To support our Platform Engineering Team, we are looking for a new :

Senior DevOps Engineer

What you'll do :

• Deploy, update, & optimize, applications to cloud & on-premise hosted environments
• Optimize large distributed databases ingesting multiple terabytes of data per day
• Assess the health of systems & infrastructure to advocate for upgrades, maintenance, & changes.
• Educate peers & development teams on best practices for developing & sustaining large data sets in ElasticSearch.
• Ensure quality, availability, reliability, & performance of massive scale data processing SaaS environment
• Build automations, dashboards, & best-in-class observability for a large distributed system in varied hosting environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Engineering organization to integrate & optimize legacy systems & acquisitions
• Assist the Information Security team on security initiatives, provide auditable workflows for change management, & monitor for security issues & incidents.

Who you are :

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience working in DevOps or SRE in Cloud Environments & managed hosting environments (on-premise as well)
• Professional experience with administering, scaling, & supporting ElasticSearch & similar data clusters
• Expertise & seasoned competence with Cloud native & physical Infrastructure
• Have configured CI / CD for tooling & technologies including Kubernetes & Terraform
• Professional verbal & written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate your work to both technical & non-technical stakeholders

Conductor's R&D organization is currently operating in a hybrid manner with the team working minimally two days in our NYC HQ office (Monday & Thursday) with work from anywhere the other three days)

Compensation : Conductor maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs.

The NYC base salary range for this role is currently $140,000 - 180,0000. Actual base salary offered may vary within this range based on education, knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, internal equity, & geographic location, among other factors.

The actual compensation, if offered a position, will be based on these factors.
