Job Summary :

The Senior GL Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, supporting close processes, and maintaining compliance with GAAP across multiple entities. This role provides cross-functional support and is responsible for maintaining a solid foundation of reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis that underpins executive decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare and post monthly journal entries and maintain supporting schedules for GL accounts.

• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, including cash, accruals, intercompany, and fixed assets.
• Perform flux analysis and support Controller with financial reporting packages
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes.
• Maintain the fixed assets subledger and track capital expenditures.
• Prepare schedules for prepaids, accruals, and other routine accounting entries
• Collaborate with AP and payroll functions to ensure accurate posting and reconciliation.
• Support audit activities and maintain strong documentation of accounting processes.
• Help maintain and improve accounting policies, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Job Requirements :

7–10 years of accounting experience with demonstrated GL ownership.
