Uprise Fiber is looking for multiple techs to join the team!
Are you looking for a career opportunity to utilize or expand your skills with a new challenge? We are actively seeking new and experienced technicians to perform the installation of Internet Service on our MDU Properties.
On the job training will be offered!
Essential Duties :
- Ability to document work performed, including detailed notes on repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures when working with electrical components and in potentially hazardous environments.
- Diagnose and resolve common issues with telecommunications equipment and connectivity problems.
- High level of accuracy in performing tasks, from equipment installation to troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and support staff to resolve complex issues and improve service quality.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a reliable truck, van, or SUV.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in the primary state of residence.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb extension ladders up to 28 feet in length.
- Must be able to work in dark, tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces.
- Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Snow, Etc.)
- Must be able to stand, sit or kneel for extended periods of time.
