Construction Manager - E&C

Join a dynamic team managing critical clean energy infrastructure projects that power communities across the United States. As a Construction Manager, you'll serve as the vital bridge between field operations and project management, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of renewable energy projects.

Overview of the Role :

Lead construction activities for major energy infrastructure projects, spending 70% of your time coordinating from the office and 30% in the field. You'll be the quarterback of field operations, managing contractor relationships, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project quality standards while supporting our client's mission to build America's clean energy future.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and vendors
  • Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance
  • Conduct walk-downs of planned work and validate completion to design requirements
  • Manage scope control, budget oversight, and performance reporting
  • Provide leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce
  • Approve contractor payment requests and verify constructability
  • Ensure proper resource allocations and resolve field issues
  • Implement and monitor safety plans and environmental compliance (SWPPP)

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably in energy / utility projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Experience with project scheduling software (P6) and project tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to travel and work in various weather conditions
  • Knowledge of NERC, OSHA, and environmental regulations preferred
