Job Overview
Join us for the 2024-2025 school year as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support students with special needs in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure student success.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and IEP goals.
- Participate in professional development and school-based meetings.
Qualifications
- Must have Early Childhood ECSE Credential / Endorsement from Colorado CDE.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Colorado teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with diverse student populations is preferred.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
