Job Title : Director, Revenue Management

Division : Home Office

Department : Revenue

Summary : The Director of Revenue Management (DRM) will be involved in all aspects of strategic and tactical revenue growth opportunities including pricing and discounting programs, existing customer rate increases, and maximizing additional revenue streams.

The DRM is responsible for data analysis and providing gathered intelligence to the business team as well as other corporate and ownership entities.

The DRM ensures that pricing parameters and inventory allocation are positioned to support the overall revenue goals of the business.

Starting at $150,000 / yr with benefits, potential for more commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for an internal Revenue Management System maximizing total sales. Ongoing development and implementation of a price management process that can incorporate forecasting, AI, and automation.
  • Continuous testing and optimization of revenue sources including existing customer rent increases, discounts, and sale prices.

Implement new revenue and pricing theories while balancing their risks.

  • Present ideas and opinions based on data analytics from Business Intelligence team to drive strategic pricing and discount programs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators of business. Participate in changes to the reports as required to meet changing business needs.
  • Develop and maintain general communications and relationships with upper level field staff as well as devise formalized processes to gather key local input on market-level pricing actions and impact.
  • Collaborate with Acquisitions department to keep pulse on the competitiveness of each market and track new supply growth.
  • Stay current with industry changes and how it may impact demand.
  • Stay current with modern revenue management practices and technology (including software).
  • Oversee Pricing Manager and their direct reports. Assist in creating and enforcing objective evaluation of their decisions and set goals to keep them engaged and on track.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 4 years experience associated with revenue management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience.
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
  • Strong experience in the use of automated systems, statistical programming and Microsoft office products. SQL or Python experience a plus.
  • Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action
  • Detail oriented with proven experience in analysis and problem solving
  • Proven track record of team building skills
  • Self-study and independent work style
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly responsible & reliable
