Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for a great direct placement opportunity with our client who is one of the largest electrical contractors servicing the DMV area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee personnel administration (field staff), including daily timesheets, performance reviews, attendance, and time off requests.
- Oversee construction and subcontractors direct and supervise field staff in accordance with project plan and schedule compliance.
- Maintain the established Safety Plan throughout construction.
- Provide information as required to field personnel, subcontractors, management support staff (including Purchasing), and vendors.
- Supervise field site mobilization, temporary power vaults, and office trailer setup.
- Manage field site administration (including work documentation, subcontractor management, project process documentation, and workforce productivity)
- Meet with or contact permitting, building, public works, fire and police officials as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 5+ years of supervising commercial or multi-family electrical construction projects required.
- Extensive knowledge of National Electrical Code.
- Journeyman or Masters Electrical License preferred.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus.
