The Learning & Development team in HCM oversees learning and development initiatives and programming for the firm. We educate our people on our culture, develop new and experienced managers and leaders, build the skills for creating inclusive environments, orient new hires, help people design their career paths, and provide opportunities for technical skill development.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Set and execute the firm’s global learning strategy across in-person programming and digital portfolio to align with the firm’s strategy and priorities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to consult on the firm’s and their businesses’ learning and development needs.
- Build trusted relationships with HCM colleagues to understand and prioritize evolving development needs across businesses and regions.
- Design, develop, and deliver strategic, innovative, and practical learning interventions and solutions that address business needs in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of learning and development strategies.
- Develop and coach a world-class team of learning experts; investing in their growth and forward potential in service of the learning portfolio.
- Oversee learning operations, prioritizing risk management.
Required Experience
- 15+ years’ experience.
- Excellent project management and execution skills; strong detail orientation; strong analytical skills.
- Experience in overseeing multifaceted initiatives and working on a global team.
- Experience running a learning function budget and vendor management, people leadership and defining and executing on a strategy.
- Problem solver with ability to diagnose problems and develop innovative approaches to deliver learning solutions.
- Excellent communication skills; experience in formal / informal presentation and facilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships.
- Group facilitation and consultative skills.
- Experience and expertise designing learning offerings e.g. workshops.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and demonstrated client service focus.
- Ability to function well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment that demands creativity, energy, and excellence.
- Experience in curriculum design.
- Strong commercial orientation and good understanding of the firm’s business.
- A strong growth mindset and consistent focus on self-improvement.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of working experience, 10 years in the field.
- Organizational psychology background desirable.
- Ability to teach a variety of leadership topics.
- Experience in developing a skills strategy.
- Interest in / experience with AI and learning.

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115,000-$250,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
