Job Requirements
- BLS through AHA
- Management of telemetry
- Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
- Management of dysrhythmias
- O2 Protocol
- Non-invasive airway management
- Peripheral line care / management
- Isolation precaution / PPE
- Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone)
- Rapid response team activation
- Computerized documentation
- Patient ratios : RN 1 : 4-6, CNA 1 : 6-13 on days and 1 : 10-13 on nights
- 1 year of experience within the last three years in MS / Tele / PCU
- No first time travelers

12 hour days 0700-1930
Unit Specific Information
- The Salem Health Float Pool (FP) Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization
- This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units
- Float Pool team members are highly flexible and knowledgeable of adult inpatient care
- The team also supports our sister hospital, West Valley Hospital, in Dallas, Oregon
