What does a Human Resources Manager do?
The Human Resources Manager supports the clinical and administrative teams through collaborative management of clinic operations to ensure effective, efficient delivery of high-quality ABA services.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all administrative aspects of the clinic, and bridging communication between leadership, clinic staff and families.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the brand ambassador, and a liaison between parents, employees, providers, and leadership.
- Provide direct supervision to clinic employees, supervising daily activities of the team
- Facilitate candidate interviews and gather candidate and clinic leadership feedback.
- Maintaining a clean, fun and safe environment for employees and learners developing and disseminating employee cleaning schedule, reporting repairs or maintenance issues, tracking inventory, placing clinic or therapy supply order requests.
- Identify individual growth and development opportunities to positively impact employee engagement, performance, and retention.
Create weekly report metrics to share with Leadership.
- Supports in the development and implementation of employee relations strategies and programs designed to minimize and mediate workplace disputes, and to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures;
monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
Responsible for responding to teammate-relations inquiries (HR concerns, conflict resolution, performance management, and team development).
Listens and uses high EQ skills to solve teammate concerns / issues on the spot. Successful in impacting workplace happiness and engagement.
- Manage employee time & attendance in the HRIS system, as well as analyzing reports to ensure adherence to company policies and staffing optimization.
- Facilitate employee disciplinary process, including coaching and corrective action as needed. Provide direct feedback to employees and relay any additional feedback to the appropriate leadership / department.
- Assist Scheduling Department with managing provider schedules in the EHR system.
- Work with leadership to improve workflows and decrease employee and learner call-outs.
- Monitoring daily employee documentation and holding employees accountable to ensure timely note submission after each shift and prior to leaving for the day.
- Support HR Department to assist with new hire onboarding and orientation process.
- High level of confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
- Remain current with changes in technology, laws, and regulations in your related area.
- Complete CPR / First Aid and EBPI trainer certification courses and provide in-house training for new and current employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION :
Required :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- One to two years’ supervisory experience in a medical office setting
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and pass a criminal background check
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Availability to be on-site at our clinics Monday-Friday from 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm
Preferred :
- Bachelor’s degree; or three to five years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 + years of human resources experience including a leadership role pertaining to policy management and compliance.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and / or the special needs community
