About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - General Imaging Job Specialty : Rad Tech General Imaging Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 10-hour Night Shift (Monday through Thursday) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years required License : Must obtain Wisconsin license Certifications : BLS, ARRT Must-Have : - Experience with chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm, surgical patients, portable experience, and limited fluoroscopy.
Job Description : Provide coverage for the 3rd shift from 9 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.- Collaborate with another technician in the CT department while working independently.
- Cover call for OR and fluoroscopy cases.- Handle patient types including inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, some pediatric, but mostly adult cases.
- Maintain a 1 : 1 patient ratio.- Utilize EPIC for charting and Pyxis for medication dispensing.- Operate imaging equipment including Portables by Canon, Fluoro by GE, C-arms by OEC, and Diagnostic rooms with Dell and Canon plates.
- Float across the hospital for portable imaging, including the operating room and emergency department.- Orientation will last 2-3 days based on individual comfort level.
- Work schedule includes 7 days on, then 7 days off with 11-hour shifts.- On-call responsibility for one night during the week off.
- If a holiday falls during the scheduled work week, expectation to work is required.- Uniform scrub color is flexible.
