Job Title : Special Education Teacher
Location : Tempe, Arizona
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure that all students receive a quality education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities, working closely with parents, general education teachers, and support staff.
- Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their individual needs.
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and provide acmodations for students with disabilities.
- municate effectively with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Arizona teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
- Arizona Department of Education Certification.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
