Position Title(s) : Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor

Job Summary : As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high-performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management : Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.
  • Customer Experience : Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Sales & Performance : Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
  • Operational Excellence : Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Financial Management : Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement : Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract customers.
  • Innovation & Problem-Solving : Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Additional duties and projects as required.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience : Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team.
  • Leadership Skills : Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Customer-Centric : Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
  • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
  • Minimum Requirements

    Assistant Store Manager :

  • Open availability, including hours necessary to open and close the store (mornings, days, and nights).
  • Minimum standard work week of 5 days.
  • Average standard work week of 44 hours, with increases during peak periods.
  • Supervisor :

  • Availability during opening and closing hours (mornings, days, nights).
  • Minimum of 5 days of availability.
  • Minimum standard of 30 hours per week.
  • All Management :

  • Availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance per company policies.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Clear English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • May require relocation within the company’s network for operational needs and career growth.
  • Physical Demands

  • Prolonged standing for extended periods (approximately 5 to 14 hours per day).
  • During peak periods, long workdays may occur.
  • Stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling to stock merchandise.
  • Climbing ladders or stairs to stock and acquire merchandise.
  • Lift items weighing 5-25 lbs regularly (weights may be higher in some circumstances).
  • Good vision including color differentiation.
  • Moderately noisy retail environment.
  • Education

  • High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in retail leadership preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
