Working with a talented team of Food & Beverage professionals, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a forward thinking and creative Sous Chef to assist in overseeing restaurant's culinary operations.

Key Accountabilities :
- Assist Chef de Cuisine in planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the day-to-day preparation and production of the kitchen.
- Accountable for the production of all Products required by the outlet.
- Ensures that the product is of the highest quality, and that this is consistently achieved.
- Assists the Chefs in his tasks and supports his responsibilities during his absence.

General Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years culinary leadership experience ideally in an upscale dining.
- In depth understanding of the various international cuisines
- Relevant professional qualifications (eg. Culinary, Hospitality, Business, Marketing)
- Ability to speak English fluently, additional languages would be highly advantageous
