CNA / Caregiver

Resident Care Layton, Utah Minimum Experience Mid-level Compensation $14-$15hr

Apple Village Assisted Living is hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time CNA's / Caregivers to provide care to our residents. The caregiving staff is an active part of our compassionate care team.

The CNA / Caregivers interact directly with residents by providing comfort, dispensing medications under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs.

We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and an energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents, the nurse and other facility staff.

We are looking for a FULL TIME, PART TIME, and WEEKEND Caregivers or CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) for DAY, SWING and GRAVE shifts.

Hours :

• Day Shift : 6am-2pm, 6am-10am
• Swing Shift : 2pm-10pm, 4pm-8pm
• Grave Shift : 10pm-6am

Responsibilities Include :

• Assisting residents with personal hygiene needs.
• Assist with daily living activities.
• Check Vital Signs and record daily information in the resident's care plans.
• Administer medications under the Rn supervision.
• Assist the nurse and other staff as needed.
• Adherence to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications :

• Basic computer skills
• Able to pass a background check
• Drug screen before hire
• Complete a TB test upon hiring if you have not had one in the last 6 months
• Aquire a Food Handlers permit within two weeks of hire
• Must be Covid Vaccinated
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy (bedside manner)

• Pay Range : $15 / hour with CNA, $14 / hour without, $1.00 differential for Grave Shift
• Potential for $.50 raise within your fist 3 months of hire and yearly raises based on performance.
• Must be 18 years old or 17 if certified
• Full-Time Employee benefits for medical and dental insurance, vacation pay and sick leave are available. (Qualifications pending)
