Job Description
As a critical member of the Chancellor's team, the Assistant to the Chancellor provides administrative and technical support to the Chancellor's Office and the Chancellor. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor, this position supports the Chancellor's goals by ensuring that scheduling, communication, and meeting / event logistics are accurate and managed promptly. As a key point of contact for the Chancellor, this position interacts on their behalf with students, faculty, staff, and the greater Denver community. Areas of core responsibility include managing the Chancellor's calendar and executive travel, liaising with key offices on CU Denver's campus and across the CU System, expense reimbursement, event support, and other projects as needed. Working in tandem with the Executive Assistant, this person will take initiative to achieve goals and objectives, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting positive working relationships. The role requires strong organizational and project management skills, effective problem solving, and the ability to handle complex tasks under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $71,427 - $76,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
