Common Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Savannah, is looking to add to our kitchen team and is seeking candidates for the line cook position.
The line cook position is an integral piece of our team and is responsible for creating beautiful food in an efficient manner in the production kitchen. Line cooks may also assist to prep in the prep kitchen for regular service or special events. Dedicated line cooks may also participate in executing special events alongside the Event Sous and Executive Chef. Our kitchen team is goal oriented, communicative, respectful, and effective. Line cooks will be working with an award-winning, tenured chef team and dedicated line cook team.
Line cooks must be able to stand for long periods of time without a break; be able to work in fast-paced environments; be able to walk up and down stairs several times a day; bend, twist, and squat; lift overhead; and lift at least 50 lbs.
