- Set up the schedule of values.
- Own and manage all project aspects to ensure on-time and within-budget
completion, and managing the schedule effectively.
- Handle submittals and maintain up-to-date submittal registries.
- Develop and update project schedules, safety and quality control plans, and
environmental controls and documents.
- Create proper RFIs and estimate change orders.
- Write and manage change orders and assist with scope reviews.
- Write and buyout contracts, manage closeout documents.
- Build strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal
teams.
Lead and manage weekly project update meetings with corporate and client key
stakeholders.
Experience :
- 15 years of construction experience in Commercial, Federal, and / or Public projects.
- Experience as a Construction Project Manager on $5M+
- Federal / Corps of Engineers (USACE), NAVFAC / VA, Large
Commercial, or Public projects.
Extensive experience in Federal construction under FARs, DFARs, and VAARs
preferred.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as a Project Manager.
- Willingness to travel for nationwide federal projects.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
- Field experience and OSHA 30 certification are preferred.
- USACE CQM certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in writing Quality Control and Safety plans, as well as Project Plans for
proposals preferred.
Scheduling experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project preferred.
