Prior Authorization- Pharmacy Technician

Healthcare Support is actively seeking a Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with an innovative pharmacy benefits management company, located in Orlando, FL .

Daily Responsibilities for Certified Pharmacy Technician :

• Serve as account support to internal teams for adjudication, clinical review, and claims support
• Handle escalation requests within timely manner, delivering white-glove service
• Manage claims override and prior authorization support
• Act as subject matter expert on the adjudication platform
• Perform under the supervision of Clinical Operations Manager and clinical pharmacists

Required Qualifications for Certified Pharmacy Technician :

• Minimum five years of pharmacy technician experience or a CPhT with three years of experience
• Minimum two years of claim adjudication experience
• Minimum two years of prior authorization experience

Preferred Qualifications for Certified Pharmacy Technician :

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two years of experience in PBM, health plan, or equivalent
