Processing weekly in-house payroll for 600 union employees and prepare checks for distribution
Enter Field new hires information into the payroll system
Review time sheets and wage computations to detect and reconcile pay discrepancies
Process manual checks as needed; adjustment, shortages, and layoffs
Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports and all other labor compliance reporting
Review of and compliance with all EDD audit
Answering employee questions and concerns regarding payroll
Working with a high volume of paperwork and confidential information
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed :
2-3 years related work experience.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong work ethic - willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and done correctly while meeting strict deadlines
Collaborative working style and strong team player
Proficiency with MS Excel
Preferred : Associates degree

Experience working with Viewpoint Vista software and B2W software
Union payroll processing experience
Previous work in the construction industry
Uses Vista Platform for payroll and VERY strong Excel needed
