Lead Estimator

A company is looking for an Estimating Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee estimating efforts and coordinate activities among divisional team members to meet proposal deadlines

Prepare detailed multi-discipline EPC cost estimates and lead the development of full proposal packages

Mentor junior estimators and provide technical guidance while ensuring estimating standards are upheld

Required Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred

3-7 years of experience in electrical estimating, particularly in the electric utility or EPC sectors

Proven experience with renewables, distribution, and substation projects

Advanced proficiency in estimating software and construction scheduling tools

Strong knowledge of construction productivity, equipment capabilities, and labor planning
