We are seeking an attorney who can provide quality legal services to our large, diverse client base. Our ideal candidate will work passionately and effectively alongside our legal team to ensure a successful outcome for our clients.

Compensation :

$120,000 - $130,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
• Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
• Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs

Qualifications :

• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
• Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
• Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
• Over 3 years of experience representing clients in criminal defense matters.
• Conducted a minimum of 20 preliminary hearings, 5 felony, and 10 misdemeanor jury trials.
